The shool, Escola da Ponte, is located in Lordelo do Ouro parish. Its building is old, consisting of two floors, a basement and a classroom in covered annexe. The school has an open air playroom with a small covered space, an area with a small garden and outside bathrooms. The few works of repair and improvement of the facilities that have been made were supported by the caretakers. Of the 154 students attending the school, according to the Group Improvement Plan, the majority belong to families of the middle class, middle-high class and 85% of the caretakers have the 12th grade level of education or higher grade levels. The school has almost no students retentions.
