Fotini Larkou holds a PhD in Art Education. Her principal research interests lie in the field of Art Education, Educational Research, Cultural Understanding and Curriculum Development. She is currently working as an Assistant Headmistress in a primary school, Art Advisor in Primary Education and Curriculum Officer for the Cyprus Visual Arts Curriculum in Pedagogical Institute. She is also part time Lecturer at the University of Nicosia, teaching for the Master in Educational Sciences. She is a founding member of the Hambis Printmaking Museum and a member of the board of Hambis Printmaking School and Museum, a non-profit NGO with extensive national and international collaborations in the areas of printmaking and education.
