Elektra Sofroniou was born in Limassol in 1986. She studied Fine Art and Art Education in the National Academy of Fine Art in Sofia next to the established professor Teofan Sokerof, Bulgaria with a full scholarship. She continued her studies in completing her master’s degree in Painting. Elektra has participated in various solo and group exhibitions in Cyprus and abroad. She has been working as an artist in schools collaborations, volunteering in mental health services and as a fine art tutor in her own art workshop in Limassol.
She is involved as a volunteer in various organizations and in the board of the NGO “Art without Boarders”.
Elektra loves art and craft, photography, sailing and sea sports, healthy living and volunteering.
