My name is Markella Georgiou and I was born in Nicosia Cyprus on the 3rd of May 1974.
I graduated from Middlesex University in London with a BA Hons/Arts QTS in 1996. Since then I have been working in Primary public schools in Cyprus with various children ages and many subjects including Art. Art though has always been my main subject when teaching all these years. The last 15 years I have been teaching exclusively Art in Primary Education.
During these years I have also:
- Worked with HUDSON VAGABOND PUPPETS, New York, a theatrical organization that consists of professional dancers and actors, performing with giant puppets for children and learnt through workshops how to create the puppets.
- Took place in various workshops with the Youth Board of Cyprus on Karagiozis.
- Designed the scenery and costumes with two primary teachers for a Children’s Play “Odyssevax”
