Welcome Reception by the Coordinator, Catarina Martins.

Partners introduction.

Summary of the project.

Planning the project (Plan of Action - how tocommunicate between meetings; events and activities to create during theproject; briefly discussed how to monitor and evaluate activities; discussstrengths and needs of partner countries; discuss desired content of the upcomingTraining of the Trainers events; discuss desired content of the upcomingTraining of local educators events).

11:00 – Coffee Break.

11:30 – 13:00

The following issues were discussed with thepresence of the Fine Arts Faculty financial management officer, Paula Pinto, and the leader of the International office of the UP, Ana Reis:

-      Analysis and Discussion ofEuropean agency requirements and guidelines.

-      Management issues.

-      Financial aspects.

-      Coordinators had the firstpresentation of the final budget of the project which was different from thebudget proposal; at this stage the partners from UK and from Sweden were notyet confirmed.

13:00 – Lunch.

14:30 – 16:00

Discussion of the Open Educational Resource platform (design and content) (O1) with the presence of the web designer. The following topics were discussed: the design and the contents of theplatform and database; some doubts about funding of work by UP in this rubricwere raised and it was decided that all the partners should support the designof the platform; the main structure of the page was discussed.

Plan the events and announcements.

Rationales, templates and approaches to implement the project: it was decided that cultural differences and different pedagogical approaches should be respected. The project should be open, flexible and use broad concepts of contemporary arts. Each partner would develop their own strategies andtemplates according to the different contexts.

Decision about CREARTE LOGO 

Discussion about the number of artists and schools to implement the project in the different countries were discussed.

The O2 was briefly discussed but it was agreed it should be a topic for the next meeting.

Schedule for Learning/Teaching/TrainingActivities: Training of the Trainers was elaborated.

16:00 – 19:00

Briefly discussed how to monitor and evaluate activities.
